How to Set-Up Exclusive Access

Step-by-Step Instructions

You can create or edit exclusive access settings from your Dashboard, or directly from a Page. If you create a lock from a Page, you can use it on other pages, and edit it from your Dashboard, or a Page. Any edits you make will be applied to all instances of your lock.

The process for setting up exclusive access from either a Page or your Dashboard is basically the same, the only difference is where you start. If you'd like to start from your Dashboard, simply head to Community Access from your Dashboard navigation, then skip to "Set Name" below.

How to Set-Up Community Access from any Page
To get started, open the Access Tab in the Page Designer.
Next, tap Token Gate and switch the toggle from Disabled to Enabled, and then tap "Create New Token Gate."
Start Here if you are Creating from you Dashboard
Give your Token Gate a name. You’ll reference this whenever you want to apply the same Token Gate to other Pages. Select either Hold an NFT or Hold a Token. You can choose up to 3 different Tokens, NFTs or NFT Collections. Scroll down for the instructions on setting up with a Token.
+ Hold an NFT — Set-up a Token Gate with an NFT or NFT Collection
First, select which type of NFT gate you'd like to create. Tellie Collection: This will create a gate that can be unlocked by any NFT in a given Tellie Collection. If you have more than one collection, you will have the option to choose which collection to gate with. Contract Address: Use this if you'd like to create a Gate using any NFT on our supported blockchains, and optionally would like to further limit to specific Token IDs. OpenSea Collection (Beta): An easy option for OpenSea collections, advanced options let you gate by attribute.
If you select NFT Contract Address or OpenSea Collection, you will have further options:
🌐 Select the Network This is the blockchain that the NFT lives on Tellie supports Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Flow & Binance Smart Chain OpenSea supports Polygon or Ethereum
✏️ Paste in the NFT Contract Address We recommend finding the address on OpenSea Search for the NFT Collection and open it Open the page for one of the NFTs in the collection Scroll down underneath the NFT to Details Copy the Contract Address that starts with 0x
Advanced Options
🔢 Add a Token ID or range Best when using a shared contract in which multiple people mint into the same contract Examples values 25 25-50 25, 27, 29-50 🔢 Minimum amount to hold Write a number for the # of NFTs a visitor must hold to open the Page For NFTs we recommend a value of 1

💾 Save Your Gate & Add an Unlock Description Once you’ve added all of your NFTs & Tokens to the gate, tap Save in the upper right hand corner. The Access tab will now show your gate name and Enabled. You can now add your Unlock Description.   This text appears on your page when someone is prompted to connect their wallet to unlock it. Example: Beauty School Dropout lists, "NEW MUSIC, VIP GUEST LIST" as their unlockable benefits.
💾 Publish Your Page Remember to Publish or Republish your page for the changes to take effect.

🔑 See Your Locked Page

Now, when visitors go to open your page, they'll see a screen prompting them to connect their wallet to unlock the content. If a visitor member connects their wallet and owns the NFT or token in the correct amount, they will see your page.
