Tellie Commerce Overview π«
Tellie Commerce is a collection of tools for creators to monetize their content. With the Tellie Commerce, creators are able to sell digital goods (i.e. NFTs) directly on Tellie, creating a means for unlocking different tiers of supporters.
With Tellie Commerce, we empower creators to generate revenue from their art, music, and creativity. Creators can create token gated content for their super fans to access exclusive content.
In this guide we will cover the basic tools and features included in Tellie Commerce, and point you to how-tos on: creating an NFT, listing your NFT for sale, viewing sales, purchasing an NFT, viewing your NFTs, and a breakdown of fees.
Features & Pricing
Token Gating πͺ
A cool feature we offer is the ability Token Gate any page on Tellie. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create a Token Gate. Adding a Token Gate to a Page makes it exclusive to anyone holding a specific NFT, Collection or tokens. Visitors must verify that they own a token or NFT to unlock it. Token Gated pages are perfect for sharing private newsletters, exclusive info, merch drops, BTS content, ticket pre-sales, private forms, and more with your collectors. π

Tellie Collections π₯
Tellie Collections are smart contracts on the eco-friendly Polygon blockchain. Any Collection you create on Tellie is owned and controlled by you. Your Collection smart contract is used to mint NFTs which can be used by your collectors to unlock exclusive content, merch, tickets, and more on Tellie Token Gated Pages. π€―

Sell on Tellie π
βEnable salesβ appears in both the Collections Details page and the NFT Details page. Before an NFT can be listed for Sale, the marketplace contract needs to be deployed for that Collection. Clicking Enable Sales triggers the steward wallet to deploy the Marketplace contract. No wallet confirmation is required by the Creator.
Once the Marketplace contract is deployed, you will be able to list an NFT for sale. Learn how to list an NFT for sale.
Service Fee π²
Minting on Tellie is completely free. However, Tellie charges a 7.5% service fee which is deducted from each sale.
For example, if a creator sold an NFT on Tellie for $20, the service fee would be $1.50 (7.5% of $20) and the payout made to the creator would be $18.50 ($20 minus $1.50).
Uniswap Swap Feeπ°
Though we call Chainlink to display the live conversion rate, the conversion itself occurs on Uniswap. Uniswap is currently the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) by trading volume and is commonly used to allow anyone to swap ERC20 tokens. Every time a token is converted using Uniswap (i.e. MATIC to USDC), there is a pool fee that needs to be paid. Pools are a Uniswap concept where each token pair may have different swapping fees. In this instance it's a 0.05% flat fee on the total amount of tokens swapped. This fee is baked into the total conversion calculation.
For more information on how conversion rates are calculated, please refer to the Conversion page.
