Open your Chrome Browser on a Desktop computer
Step-by-Step Guide
Click on 'Add to Chrome'
Select 'Create new wallet'
Backup the 12 words that are given. Please keep in mind, this is how you will access your funds. If you lose the wallet seed phrase, your money will be gone and cannot be recovered without it. Make sure to write it down in multiple places and keep the phrase in a safe place. 🔒
Once you write down all 12 words, you will see them pop up in a random order. 🔄
You will then be asked to select the 1st word of the twelve and the last.
After, you will then create a password to your wallet. We recommend following the wallet's recommendations on creating a password for the best security. 🔐
You can then proceed to claim a free username or do it later.
Once your wallet is setup, you will want to pin it to your chrome browser by selecting the 'puzzle' button. You will then select the 'pin' button to favorite Coinbase Wallet to your extensions list.
Please also be sure to add the Polygon network to your wallet, and if you are planning on buying an NFT, you can purchase some MATIC directly from your wallet app.
Once pinned, Click on the Coinbase Wallet Icon in your extension list and you should see this pop up where you will find your crypto and NFTs:
