Click on 'Add to Chrome' ➕
Select 'Get Started'
MetaMask will then ask you if you want to partake in helping them collect data based on your usage. This is 100% optional and you can select either 'No Thanks' or 'I agree'. This feature just helps improve MetaMask long term.
Select 'Create a wallet' 🔒
After, you will then create a password to your wallet. We recommend following the wallets recommendations on creating a password for the best security. 🔐
You will then see a video about Securing your wallet. We highly recommend watching it to understand what your secret phrase does. If you forgot to watch it, you can watch it down below. ⬇️
Once you have watched it, click on 'next' ✅
You will see your 'Secret Recovery Phrase', Backup the 12 words that are given. Please keep in mind, this is how you will access your funds. If you lose the wallet secret recovery phrase, your money will be gone and cannot be recovered without it. Make sure to write it down in multiple places and keep the phrase in a safe place. 🔒
Once you have written your secret recovery phrase, you will then click on each word in chronological order they were written in. 💬
For context, once you enter the 12 words in chronological order, it should look similar to this 🔠:

📌 Don't forget to pin MetaMask to your Google Browser. To do this, you can click on the 'puzzle' on the top right corner, then click on the 'pin' near MetaMask. and then you should be able to open your wallet.
Please also be sure to add the Polygon network to your wallet, and if you are planning on buying an NFT, you can purchase some MATIC directly from your wallet app by clicking "BUY" and following the prompts.
