NFTs on Tellie are minted on the Polygon Network. This means that in order to purchase an NFT minted on Tellie, you must be holding MATIC, the native cryptocurrency on the Polygon Network.
When you make your purchase, be sure to take into account variable exchange rates and gas fees. Basically, buy some extra to cover your purchase. 😉
Here are a two ways to acquire MATIC:
- You can purchase it directly from your crypto wallet. Both Coinbase Wallet and Metamask (via Moonpay) support purchasing MATIC with a credit card. Just follow the instructions for doing so in your wallet app.
- If you currently hold ETH, you can bridge it to Polygon. This will cost some gas, but is fairly easy to do. Instructions here.
